We hope that all is well, and this invitation finds you in good health and spirits. We have been apart for way too long and it’s time to strengthen that family bond again. We are delighted to welcome you to the Peach State of Georgia and thank you for your patience in getting our reunion together! The BLM reunion will be hosted in Columbus Georgia, Thursday, June 20th-23rd, 2024 at the Columbus Marriott Hotel.

It is located downtown where the atmosphere is lively, energetic, and spirited. Family makes everything possible! Family gives that feeling of togetherness and keeps you connected to your roots and culture. Family is the only thing that remains constant and that is why it is so important to keep the family reunions going and growing as we add new family members.

We cannot wait to see you, so let’s plan to meet up, catch up, have a great time, and make some new memories. Here’s an idea! Roll your luggage into your room, show your face in the place, and let the family shenanigans and the new memories begin. Herman E. Nettles Scholarship Fund

Purpose

To solicit, receive, and offer scholarship funding through gifts, donations, bequests and grants for the purpose of providing students with funds to pursue higher education regardless of race, creed, or sexual origin.

Mission

To award scholarships that support student’s tuition, books, and tutoring through technical, undergraduate, and graduate school.

Administration

Governed by the HEN Scholarship Foundation’s article of incorporation, its bylaws, and its members which consist of a Board of Directors and Special Committee.
